Kinghorn Town Hall Apartment

living

Fife Historic Buildings Trust completed the restoration of the castellated and B-listed Kinghorn Town Hall in 2009. This magnificent building dominates the approach into the coastal town of Kinghorn, and the upper floors now house a stunning holiday apartment which sleeps five to six people.

The first floor of the holiday apartment includes a magnificent living/dining area with three floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows and two original fireplaces. There is a well-equipped kitchen off this room.

On the top floor, there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room which serves the smallest bedroom.  Access to the top floor is either via a main front staircase or via a fascinating internal circular stone staircase. The apartment combines comfort with style and character.

(Please note, there is no lift access).

Guests have exclusive use of an attractive walled garden and there is a beautiful sheltered sandy beach close by. The nearby railway station provides easy rail access to Edinburgh and to the north. Other attractions include Fife's many golf courses and the historic towns of St Andrews, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy. The Town Hall is also conveniently located for discovering 'Outlander' country!

Prices start from GBP452/week. Bookings can be made though the Fife Historic Buildings Trust: Email: info@fifehistoricbuildings.org.uk or call 01592 890060.

''A lovely surprise! Warm and comfortable and totally unique.'' - Guest book comment

''Had the pleasure of staying at the town hall for 3 nights. This is such an amazing experience and if you are in or around the area I highly recommend! I love the character of this place and it's such a nice change to staying in hotels. Everything we needed was supplied for.  This will be certainly my first choice on any returns to the area. Our stay was made all that sweeter knowing that the fees paid were going towards the upkeep of an important historical building known and loved by many in Kinghorn. Not to be missed! ”- Guest review
